In recent years, the Ports of Stockholm have undergone major development. Värtahamnen and Kapellskär have expanded and Stockholm Norvik Port, a brand new Ro-Ro and Container port, opens in May 2020 outside Nynäshamn. For several years 3D Interactive have helped Ports of Stockholm with visual applications in both AR and VR to show the public and stakeholders what these ports will look like and the new opportunities it brings to the Stockholm region.
With Our applications, Port of Stockholm have been able to conduct a transparent citizen dialogue with the general public and politicians, while at the same time pointing out the opportunities that come with the development of the ports for external stakeholders such as cruise and shipping companies.
