GlobeAR is an Augmented Reality application designed to show Augmented  Reality campaigns. This Privacy Policy describes what data GlobeAR  mobile application ("Application") collects from its users, how the data is  being stored and the ways it can be used. Please read this Privacy Policy  carefully before using the Application. By accessing or using the GlobeAR  application in any manner you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Who we are?

3D Interactive Sthlm AB is a leading Augmented & Virtual Reality solution  provider for the Nordic Countries. We have been creating Augmented and  Virtual Reality applications for almost 5 years for various clients. The  company is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

What is the GlobeAR application?

GlobeAR is an Augmented Reality mobile application available for free  from AppStore and Google Play. The GlobeAR application expands the  reality by allowing you to see virtual content not visible for the naked eye  and the application is very easy to use. Just open it and follow the  instructions. Exciting and informative content is displayed on top of the real  world. You can take pictures of the augmented content. The images are  stored in your devices photo gallery and you can share those to your friends.  

Information collected by GlobeAR application and why do we collect it?

When you download the GlobeAR application you are asked to give  permission for GlobeAR app to use following information:

• Camera: GlobeAR application is based on image recognition and the  images (the pictures you are scanning) are recognized by the devices  camera.

• Photo Gallery: in GlobeAR you can create your own content by using  your photos and videos. To enable this feature GlobeAR needs access  right to your personal photo gallery. This data is only used when you  decide to use this feature.

• App based general statistics is collected to see how the app is being  used.

Personal information collected by the GlobeAR application: We do not  collect or store any personal information like your age or gender.

Where your data is stored?

GlobeAR content is hosted on Amazon Web Services and all the data stored  in their Cloud Servers.

Links to third party services: GlobeAR campaigns may contain links to third  party websites. Please note that we cannot control and cannot be held  responsible for the privacy policies of such websites. You should always  read the privacy policy of a website to find out more about how personal  information is collected and processed.

Sharing your information

We do provide reports about the campaign success for our customers but  only containing aggregated level general information. In no circumstances  an individual GlobeAR application user can not be identified.

Sharing photos and videos made with the GlobeAR application

GlobeAR Application offers you the possibility to take a photo and share it  to any social media sites, email addresses etc. Those social media sites may  give us access to certain personal information stored by them (e.g., content  

viewed and information about the advertisements within the content you  have been shown or may have clicked on, etc.) from your interaction with  the online services. You control the personal information you allow us to  have access to through the privacy settings on that third party website and  the permissions you give us when you grant us access. By associating an  account managed by a third party with your GlobeAR Application and  authorizing us to have access to this information, you agree that we may  collect, use and store the information provided by these sites in accordance  with this Privacy Policy.

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on  this page, and update the Privacy Policy modification date above.
